Sound Lock Access Floors are load bearing, acoustic floor panels which have been successfully fire tested in accordance with British Standard BS476 Part 20 & 22 and Australian Standard AS1530 Part 4.

Fire testing of the Sound Lock Access Floor was conducted in a horizontal furnace at the Internationally recognized laboratories of Warrington Fire Research Melbourne Australia.

This extremely severe test was concluded after 5 hours and the specimen qualified for 301 minutes integrity and 136 minutes insulation. Furnace temperatures after 5 hours were in excess of 1080⁰C.
