In order to ensure that the door seals used on Mason Sound Lock doorsets are easy to compress and do not prevent the door from closing,  Mason conducted closing force tests in compliance with the procedures described in ISO 8274.

Results of the tests showed that Mason Sound Lock doorsets fitted with Mason acoustic silicone rubber seals are able to closed with normal force.
